Tarot Card Meanings · The Rider–Waite Deck
Seventy-Eight
Mirrors
Every card in the tarot, upright and reversed — in plain language, the way I'd explain it across the reading table. Use it to learn, to check a pull, or simply to sit with one card for the day.
01
Upright
The card's energy flowing freely — its core message, fully expressed.
02
Reversed
The same energy blocked, turned inward, overdone or just beginning to ease. Not simply "the bad version."
03
Context
No card is read alone. Position, question and neighbouring cards all shift the meaning.
No cards match that search. Try a keyword like "love", "change" or "money".
Beyond the Meanings
The Cards Are the Words.
A Reading Is the Sentence.
Knowing each card is the start. Reading them together, around your real question, is where the clarity happens.
